BIO

Suzanne Thau is a Partner in the Trusts & Estates Department. She concentrates her practice in estate and tax planning, advising individuals with:

  1. Preparation of wills and trust agreements
  2. Preparation and review of probate petitions and federal estate tax returns
  3. Trust administration, including preparation and review of trust accountings, receipt and release agreements, decanting documents, and various Surrogate’s Court petitions.
  4. Development of tax driven solutions for clients in various situations, including those with limited partnership and closely held corporate interests.

Ms. Thau is the co-author of: Suzanne Thau & Jonathan Blattmachr, Introduction to Tax Effects of Conservation Easements–Part 1, ESTATE PLANNING (Dec. 2011); Suzanne Thau & Jonathan Blattmachr, Introduction to Tax Effects of Conservation Easements–Part 2, ESTATE PLANNING (Jan. 2012).
